To visit the Byzantine church of Panagia Podithou, a church whose walls are covered by hagiographies. In fact, the church of Panagia Podithou is included among the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Monuments. Moreover, one should not fail to walk along the Nature Trail to admire the unique images of Galata and also to stroll around the picturesque neighbourhoods of the village, where you will be captivated by the beauty of the traditional houses with the famous wooden balconies which are actually the reason why the village is known as the ‘village of the balconies’.
