Located in the green valley of river Karkotis and at a distance of 48 km from the capital city is Linou, a gorgeous small village of the Nicosia District. It is a village which always manages to charm its visitors with its simplicity and natural beauties.

    • There are no agrotourist lodgings in Linou. However, you can stay in one of the hotels of our valley or at the neighbouring village of Kakopetria.

  • Do not forget

    To visit the old church of Agia Marina and the chapel of Prophet Elias, which is built on the peak of the mountain. While strolling around the village you will come across the water dam of the village, its four old watermills and its beautiful bridge which is probably Venetian. Finally, is worth knowing that hero Andreas Zakos was born and raised in Linou.
